I came across these stones at a recent bead show and really like them. (Not sure of it's name though.)
They are faceted, cut to a rectangle shape, ¾” long and the color ranges in shades of dark purple, tan, pink. They are not perfect stones but that adds to the artistic look of the piece.
For these earrings, I match as close as possible, two dark purple stone beads. They are combined with faceted amethyst stone rondelles, amethyst colored glass, crystals and sterling silver beads.
They're a nice length, dangling about 2¼ “ from the bottom of Sterling Silver earwire.
